Manaus
Manaus, on the banks of the Negro River in northwestern Brazil, is the capital of the vast state of Amazonas. It's a major departure point for the surrounding Amazon Rainforest. Just east of the city, the dark Negro River converges with the brown, muddy Solimões River resulting in a striking visual phenomenon called the “Meeting of the Waters.” The combined tributaries form the Amazon River.
Sugarloaf Mountain

Biography- Liam Neeson
Today I want to share a biography about a famous actor Liam Neeson. A biography is talking about someone's background of how they became famous and what is the purpose. Our steps we had to follow to make a biography was to write their childhood, early life, adult life, pathway to fame, nationality/country and facts. While doing this biography I found interesting things about Liam Neeson. Hope you enjoy!

Manaiakalani Film Festival
Yesterday was a full on day for me because I had to present to different schools in different cinemas. We went to Sylvia Park Hotys and it was fun. I was a bit nervous when I went up on stage but when I had faith and also the confidence I just act like nobody was there and that I'm just talking to a ghost. I was so excited to cast my film that my friends and I made. The film is called "A Message From Glen Taylor School".
Here is what I said:
Hi Everyone,
A message from Glen Taylor School is a film created by Room 11 students. It is filled with inspirational quotes and words of wisdom to help you realise that you are special.
We hope that when you leave today, you are inspired and motivated to embrace your uniqueness and strive to succeed! Don’t let anyone stand in your way!

Fun Run Term 4!
Hi Everyone,
Last week, GTS and Glen Innes Primary took part in the annual Fun Run event hosted by Breakfast Club and Mr Steve.
We ran a distance of 2.4km from Pakuranga Sailing Club to St Kentigern School. At the finish line we had a sausage sizzle and free bottles of water to enjoy.
Here are some photos of how our day went.
