Art- Cardboard Portarits

Here is my first art for this week which is called a Cardboard Portrait. It was really hard to make this but as long I had fun making this.

LCS- What we can give back to the community!

Today for my LCS I did a poster about what I can do to give back to the community. My idea was to cook for the homeless people & to make cards for them as well. I wanted to do this because I know they are crying for help,praying,going to bed feeling hungry & also suffering. I want to make these homeless people feel better & for them to know that some of us still care about them. So I hope you like my poster! #ALL LIVES MATTER

Learning & Rhyming- Daily 5

Today it was the first time school was open but I never went to school today. I had to be very careful of the virus cause anything can happen so this means I will be doing online learning for this whole week. Hope you like my task's.

WAVE 2

It was a hard year for us people,a hard time & struggles for everybody but we manage to get through this. I am so proud of NZ & very proud of our PM Jacinda Ardern. I think she is doing a great job & managing NZ in good care. I just want to say thank you to everybody especially our Lord Jesus for helping us,being here for us,listening to our prayers & answering them. Thank you!

Proverb Narrative-Honesty Is The Best Policy

Honesty Is The Best Policy

It’s good to tell the truth,even if it seems as if it would be best to lie.

I was so thirsty and I felt like an Apple juice. I knew Jill stocked some
inside one of the cupboards in the kitchen which she told me and  my
three brothers to not touch. 

But I was craving for it and my throat was getting so dry so I had to
look for it, even though I didn’t ask. I had to be very careful and also
quiet so Jill wouldn't hear me. I acted like a ninja and was trying my
very best to stay quiet. Luckily she was listening to music on her
earphones.  So I had a chance to quickly run to the kitchen.

I finally got there. Somehow it felt like I knew where the Apple juice
was. I opened the second top cupboard and there it was - five more
containers of Apple juice. 

I took three of them and drank them all just like that.
I finally finished my last Apple juice and my stomach was so full.
It felt like I couldn’t move. 

Then I just realised that Jill said she was saving those 5 Apple
juice bottles for her friends cause they were coming over. I had an idea.
I remembered we had Apple Cider Vinegar so I grabbed the
Apple Cider Vinegar inside the fridge and off I went, trying
to tip it quickly and carefully inside the 3 juice bottles that were empty.

Later that night. . . 

Jill’s friends came over with some snacks,
waiting in the lounge while Jill went to grab the five Apple juices.
She didn’t even notice until… 

“JASMINE,JOSH,BRAXTON,BRENDAN” screamed Jill.
I knew I was in big trouble but I didn’t want to tell
the truth to her or put one of my brothers on the spot so
they would get blamed for it rather than me. 

I remembered a wise person once told me
“HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY”. “Um, Jill it was me that
drank your 3 Apple juices and I replaced it with Apple Cider Vinegar.
I’m so sorry Jill” 

Thank you for apologizing Jasmine but since you did that,
what about you make me & my friends some smoothies.
My brothers all laughed. “Also you three boys help your sister”
My brothers went quiet and didn’t say anything after that. 

Maths

Today for Maths we learnt a strategy from my teacher. My group had to stay back after the class call and do Maths with my teacher but it turned out to be only me & my friend SYC with my teacher Miss Tupou. This strategy my teacher taught me was old cause I already knew it. Hope you like it!

Today I had an amazing time with my new Tech teacher called Mrs Sharma.She is my science teacher along with our school's Deputy Principal Miss Wrack. Today our topic was about being a scientist and we had to answer questions like what are the layers of the Earth,does a coconut sprout and things like that.

My WALT for today was using patterns to find fractions of shapes and sets.I watched a video about it and different strategies of how to solve it and it was pretty easy. I hope you guys like it!

Today for Writing I had to watch a short video about two old mens. They were fishing and one of them sneeze then his fake teeth came out and fell into the water while the other guy was laughing at him. I didn't really like this video because it was sad & I was about to cry but I didn't want to. Hope you like my poster.

ToDaY fOr DaIlY 5 I did word work,work on writing & listen 2 reading. For word work I did the meanings for each of my spelling words, for work on writing I did a diamante poem about the color white and for listen 2 reading I learnt how to play a new game called Ulu Maika.

Orientation- WHY!

WHY!

BOOM! “What was that?” Coup mumbling with fear. I hope it’s just a cat or something like that.
BOOM there it was agian.
Deep husky voices whispering outside his room talking about something.“Please stop please stop” Coup said silently.
They were getting louder and louder until Coup just had enough of it.
His mind was getting frustrated, his eyes wanted to close but it couldn’t,his anger wanted to come out...

I'M TRYING TO SLEEP HERE! shouted Coup with anger.Then all of a sudden it just went quiet.

After that nonsence Coup couldn’t go sleep.
His eyes were red,his body was sweaty hot just like he was in a boiling pot.
It is midnight now and Coup still couldn’t go to sleep.He was frightened and
scared as if those noises were in his room closet.
He couldn’t stop thinking about it so he went to check who was talking.

As he was getting closer and closer to the door BOOM!
The noise came again, he couldn’t believe his eyes as he opened the door straight away.

“STEEL, NAINA” Coup shouted with anger and fright. Steel and Naina were shot,
lying on the ground with heaps of blood spreaded all around the floor.
Coup looked around if anybody did this to them but he couldn’t see anybody.
As he turned around something caught his eyes.
A paper that had his name said “To Coup”.Coup grabbed it quickly, he opened it and the letter said…

Dear Coup,

We are so sorry to leave you like this but we had no choice.
We can’t tell you much but we love you and please look after yourself.

Q+A From Mr Victor- NZME

Today I got asked to answer some questions about the paperun I do. Every morning I always help out my mum and deliver NZ Heralds,Sunday Star Time,Sunday News Time,Australian Women's Day Magazine and Women's Day Magazine by waking up at 4:30am. Mr Victor also gets the Herald so that's why he is so curious of how many bundles I deliver and things like that.

Mum’s Answer: It takes  2 ½ hours each week day to deliver

4. On Saturdays and Sundays do you deliver more bundles? How many? 

Mum’s Answer:Yes we deliver more bundles than the week days.
