Tapa Cloth

 Today for art we had to make a Tapa Cloth design on paper. Mrs Cox got us to read a story about how the Tapa Cloth was made and who makes Tapa cloth. It was very interesting learning about the process of how to make Tapa Cloth. Here is a slide of what I wrote about! Enjoy.

My Greatest Dream

 My Greatest Dream

I know there are many dreams you have in mind, right? But what is that one dream you desperately think of all the time? It could be being a pilot, physician assistant, doctor or a manager - probably something else. But what is your greatest dream? 

My greatest dream is this one dream that I couldn’t really stop thinking about or imagining me as being that person. My greatest dream is to become Prime Minister for either New Zealand, the Cook Islands or Tonga. Having this as my greatest dream is something I have thought of for a very long time. To be honest I didn’t really think this was gonna  become my greatest dream, I thought it would be like a police officer or a boss of a company but really thinking about being a PM changed my mind. 

It helped me think that I know many kids maybe won’t have this as their greatest dream, so what if I choose this as my greatest dream. If I had the chance to become Prime Minister, this is what I would do. . .

First of all, I would like to lead my country in the right direction and to be a role model for all.

Secondly,  I would like to be an inspiration to others. To show people that they can accomplish anything and to always believe in themselves.

And lastly, to make the country a better place to live and also a healthy environment to be around.

So you guys now know what I would do If I became Prime Minister. I now want to tell you now what my visions for the country are.

Number 1: Believe: Believing in yourself means stepping forward,  not being scared to try new challenges or take new opportunities.

Number 2- Imagine: Imagine you being there, and being very proud of your accomplishment because at the end of the day your hard work would pay off.

Number 3- Enjoy: Enjoy every moment you have right now, rather than wasting it on other things. Because life is short and it won't exist for a long time.

Blogging B1

 This morning I woke up feeling excited and happy to do my school work. I am that type of girl who is always ready to do school work! Today for my first task I started on Blogging B1. Blogging B1 is a cyber smart task I have to do every Tuesday and Thursday. For my task I had to blog comment on 3 year 7 & 8 students from different schools or I can blog comment on my own class blogs.

Bermuda Triangle

 Today for one of my task I had to talk and write down 7 facts about Bermuda triangle. I had to research all about Bermuda triangle and also I found many interesting facts about Bermuda triangle. Two facts I found interesting was that Bermuda triangle is also known as the Devil's triangle and my second interesting fact is that 50 ships and 20 planes have disappeared.

Tongan Ta'ovala

Today I learnt more about why Tongans wear mats around their waist. It was very interesting about how it came into this world & why Tongans wear it. Here my slide of what's a Tongan Ta'ovala.

Boom! Here is the Otai recipe. It has the ingredients on how to make it, the instructions/method to help you make it & the shopping list.I used the website Pak N Save to get the price of the ingredients but the watermelon part, you have to get it from a Dairy shop. Thank you!

LCS- What we can give back to the community!

Today for my LCS I did a poster about what I can do to give back to the community. My idea was to cook for the homeless people & to make cards for them as well. I wanted to do this because I know they are crying for help,praying,going to bed feeling hungry & also suffering. Learning & Rhyming- Daily 5

Today it was the first time school was open but I never went to school today. I had to be very careful of the virus cause anything can happen so this means I will be doing online learning for this whole week. Hope you like my task's.

 This morning for Maths I had to watch a video about solving addition problems of tenths and changing one number into a whole number. It was pretty easy because I've learnt this last year and also last term so I still remember how to do it. HERE IT IS!
