Mu Super Holidays

On the last day of school I was really excited for the holidays. When I got home I had to have a shower to go to the matariki lights .Matariki is about celebrating the Maori New Year. it was really fun
seeing colourful lights Felicia’s dad as a security.

The next week of the first day at skids my mum, brother and I went to skids because my mum works there. Skids is when children under 13 years of age come to skids and do fun activities while their parents are working.
So we went into the hall and i saw some of my friends but most of the kids i
didn't really know them. We were all playing, drawing and doing cool crafts.
Until the teachers including my mum  said “everybody come on the mat now but clean up first please”when everyone was done we were waiting for our skids manager
to do the roll call. When everybody was waiting patiently on the mat then Sharlene welcomed all of us to skids. The first thing we were
doing was activities like playing games outside & inside. After we had morning tea & we made winter equipment like snowflakes, fake snow and a snowman because our theme was winter carnival.
After all that we went on our devices for a few minutes then we had lunch. Meanwhile after lunch some kids were playing on their devices
and most of them were playing outside and with the fake snow  Sharlene made. When i was walking around i met some new friends and teachers.

The next day was Tuesday and our theme was clay making. All of us were excited to make clay making and to see what it will turn out like. After that some of us went outside to play games with balls. Soon we had
morning tea then we went to play again.
It was a fun day for me.

It was a next start of the day and it was wednesday so that means its laser tag time. I was so excited to play and vs my friends and others. Once i got there we all had to take everything out of the hall onto the deck outside.
So everything was ready and I was the last group to go in. My team was blue
not red but we nearly won by 1 point. It was super fantastic.

Then the second to last day was Thursday and it was pajama day. So everyone has to wear their pajamas. We also had the jelly bean ladies to teach us how to play different types of instruments. What a fun day it was.

Then the last day was Friday and we were going to the movies to watch the new Lion King.

It was sad but really touching but I still love it. My favorite part was when the son of mufasa became the new king of the pride lands. 

Student Led Conferences T3 & Science Fair

On Thursday it was student led conference. That is when your family come and see how you are doing in class and what are you learning about each day. I went to the student led conference and my mum,brother & my step dad. The first thing I did was took all of them to my reading level and where i am. I was explaining how i'm doing in reading and what do i struggle with. Then after we went to maths, I told my mum that i am still working on my math and i struggle in different kind of math but my mum said we still need to work on it. After we went to my writing level & i was really proud of myself in writing also my family was as well, lastly then showed them our science fair and talk through all of them, my topic was about electricity and what to do around and how to stay safe as well. But overall it was a excellence night for me but last i just want to say a big thank you to Miss Chand.

What do you think when you hear the word Smart Relationships?

Today in Cyber smart with Mrs Collins we have been learning about our new topic called Smart Relationships. 

I think these are things I would want to see in Smart Relationships & what it means to me:

Make the right choice,Teamwork,Staying safe online,Positive comments,Showing integrity online, Who you are relating too online and outside.

These are Five Smart Relationships I have learnt so far:

Think online and make a move.

Feel whats right and make good choices

Balance yourself for when you are going on your device make sure you don't be on there twenty four seven.

Listen carefully before doing something else.

Stand up for what is right online to keep yourself safe.
