Today at Tech we were learning about arm length and height. So our topic for today was Science Investigation and in my group I had Tracey & Josephine. We were the only group that did this investigation and I'm proud to say that we have accomplish most of it. Today at Tech was awesome and hopefully we do some more investigating.

Girls Dance & Room 12's Assembly - Thank You!
Today it was Room 12's Assembly. It was a very exciting and nerve-wracking day for all of us today. But there was one item some year 8 girls did. For over two days this week, Sheila, Felicia, Jane, Catherine and I was practicing a dance to present today for our school. The reason why we did this dance was because we wanted to entertain the school and also wanted to make a change for once rather just doing the original way on how we present the assemblies to the whole school.
Congrats to Room 12 for their amazing assembly this morning by the way. We may only had a 1-day rehearsal but we did awesome today everyone. Malo!
I just wanted to say thank you so much to all the girls that did the dance with me. It was brilliant and hopefully we could probably do one another time. Great Job Girls!

My Greatest Dream
My Greatest Dream
I know there are many dreams you have in mind, right? But what is that one dream you desperately think of all the time? It could be being a pilot, physician assistant, doctor or a manager - probably something else. But what is your greatest dream?
My greatest dream is this one dream that I couldn’t really stop thinking about or imagining me as being that person. My greatest dream is to become Prime Minister for either New Zealand, the Cook Islands or Tonga. Having this as my greatest dream is something I have thought of for a very long time. To be honest I didn’t really think this was gonna become my greatest dream, I thought it would be like a police officer or a boss of a company but really thinking about being a PM changed my mind.
It helped me think that I know many kids maybe won’t have this as their greatest dream, so what if I choose this as my greatest dream. If I had the chance to become Prime Minister, this is what I would do. . .
First of all, I would like to lead my country in the right direction and to be a role model for all.
Secondly, I would like to be an inspiration to others. To show people that they can accomplish anything and to always believe in themselves.
And lastly, to make the country a better place to live and also a healthy environment to be around.
So you guys now know what I would do If I became Prime Minister. I now want to tell you now what my visions for the country are.
Number 1: Believe: Believing in yourself means stepping forward, not being scared to try new challenges or take new opportunities.
Number 2- Imagine: Imagine you being there, and being very proud of your accomplishment because at the end of the day your hard work would pay off.
Number 3- Enjoy: Enjoy every moment you have right now, rather than wasting it on other things. Because life is short and it won't exist for a long time.
Thank you for reading my work and thinking about my ideas.

Family's Walk
This morning around 7:00am my family and I thought to go for a walk for my get active activity. We walked from Kelly Tarltons to the bridge across it. It was a bit spitting but we didn't really care to be very honest. As we were walking through the bridge there were two men fishing down at the end. It looked like they were just getting started to fish. Here are some photos of this mornings walk!

Kawa Of Care- Challenge 3 Screenshots
For my last challenge for the day, I had to take screenshots of our school site, class site, class blog and my blog. Taking screenshots can be very helpful with our learning because as you take your screenshot you can label it and write about it. I really like taking screenshots and this activity was amazing.
Kawa of Care- Challenge 2 Know your Keyboard
For my second challenge from Kawa of Care. This is what I had to do!
For my first task I had to move the labels to show the location of these keys on the keyboard.
And my last task I had to write the following tips or tricks you can do on your chromebook as well.
Kawa Of Care- Challenge 1
Hinemoa & Tutanekai
Here I have a task about a forbidden love story about Hinemoa & Tutanekai. This story was great to listen to and espcially interesting. This forbidden love story had me thinking that it's not all about being rich or famous but to have a right heart for others. As like Hinemoa wasn't charmed at all from the chosen rangatira from the other tribe but had eyes on one which was Tutanekai but the problem was that he was not at high birth. Hinemoa didn't care but she fell in love with him anyways.
I don't wanna ruin the story here but enjoy!
Dan Carter's Letter - ' A Message to My Fans'
Here I have a little summary of what Dan Carter wrote in his message for his fans and how it relates to me in life. Thanks to Ms Wrack for bringing up this activity for us students to do. Dan Carter was such an a inspiration to many people out there. His commitment to rugby was non stop and his love for everyone as well. I wish Dan Carter the best of life with his journey now as a family man. We will miss Dan Carter and we will never forget his amazing personality.
Enjoy!
Get Active!
So for half an hour everyday I would have to always have to get off my chromebook and do exercise like go for a walk with family, zumba/dancing, exercising, go for a jog and many more. Today for what I did was exercising, so I did a few stretches then I did jumping jacks, running on the spot, plank, push ups and squats. It was a bit tiring but it was so fun at the same time. Get out of your house and go for a walk. GET ACTIVE EVERYONE!
